Advanced Manufacturing/Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) is designed to develop and expand basic machine tool knowledge, abilities, and skills. Students in this program need a solid mathematics background. Equipment used in Advanced Manufacturing/CIM includes engine lathes, vertical milling machines, surface and tool/cutter grinders, a computerized numerical control lathe, LYNX robotic arms, 3-D printer, laser engraver, CNC plasma cutter, and a computerized numerical control programming and CAD-CAM, SolidWorks, AutoDesk Inventor drawings.

Each student is encouraged to excel in classroom and laboratory learning activities. Students successfully completing Advanced Manufacturing/CIM will enter the manufacturing industry market with skills and experience.

Graduates obtaining advanced skills in Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) machinery in Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) are eligible to land lucrative positions in the local marketplace. Program graduates that combine knowledge, computer skills, reasoning, and critical soft skills necessary for success at local, regional, and national manufacturers.

Certifications include Feature Cam online Cad Cam certification, Siemens PLC online certification, Immerse2Learn (HAAS) online certification, HASS CNC Lathe 1st & 2nd year certification, NCCER OSHA Safety certification (globally recognized), NCCER Hand Tools certification (globally recognized), NIMS 1st and 2nd year Mill certification, NIMS 1st & 2nd year Lathe certification.
