Mr.Brent Wheaton

 Personal Information:

I would like to introduce myself as the new Instructor for Computer Engineering Technology.  I am a 1988 graduate of Nettleton High School. Following high school, I served 11 years in the Air Force where I was introduced to computers and technology.  Upon separation, I worked for mulitiple local companies, including JPS,  while attending ASU.  I graduated from ASU in 2009 with a BS in Computer Information Technology.  I have also completed my Masters in Healthcare Administration from Kaplan University in 2014.

Computer Engineering Technology

Computer Engineering Technology prepares students for careers in computer technology. The course sequence focuses on duties and tasks performed by professionals in the computer support field, as well as pre-employment and employment skills. Students learn to construct, troubleshoot, service, and repair computer systems, related components, and software, and install and maintain local area networks. Completion of this sequence may prepare students for the following certification exams: A+, Certified Computer Service Technician.
