Jonesboro - NEA Career & Technical Center student enrollment has risen to nearly 500 student-paid memberships.  Club sponsor Raelyne Massey notes that last year's enrollment has increased by 350 memberships at the center.

Director Eddie Crain stated that, "If not for the combined efforts of our SkillsUSA club sponsor and instructors, we would have not come close to this level of participation."  Crain also stated that the SkillsUSA enrollment in the state of Arkansas would have been on a decline had it not been for the SkillsUSA growth at NEA Career & Technical Center.  He was referring to a report sent by Arkansas Career Ed during the Fall 2019 semester.

Upcoming dates are SkillsUSA week February 2nd-8th and the state conference and competition is April 13th-15th in Hot Springs.

SKillsUSA student members at NEA Career & Technical Center continue to refine their skills in their courses preparing for possible selection to represent their program of study and NEACTC at the state competition.

Here's to another successful competition year at SkillsUSA!
