NEACTC’s UAS/Drone students are trained in both recreational and commercial drone operations, with hands-on experience in flight safety, planning, and real-world piloting. They understand aviation regulations, drone systems, and professional flight practices, making them prepared to step into industry environments with confidence.

Students have the opportunity to earn the FAA Part 107, Remote Pilot Airman Certificate, and FAA TRUST certifications. In addition to technical skills, they gain experience in video production and drone-based business applications such as aerial photography, inspections, mapping, and media services. These students bring both technical ability and professional awareness, making them valuable assets to businesses looking to expand their drone capabilities.

NEACTC’s Construction/HVACR students receive a strong combination of classroom instruction and hands-on lab training in construction, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration. They develop real-world skills in blueprint reading, system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and equipment operation, with practical experience working on window units, split systems, and refrigeration units.

Students have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized certifications including EPA Universal, 410A, and Preventative Maintenance (PM). Many also complete articulated and concurrent college credit through ASUN, building both technical knowledge and professional readiness. These students are trained to problem-solve, work safely, and contribute on day one, making them valuable additions to construction and HVACR teams seeking motivated, skilled talent.

NEACTC’s Welding students develop strong, hands-on skills in modern welding and metal fabrication, preparing them for real-world industry demands. Students train in core welding processes such as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), while also learning blueprint reading, material properties, and proper fabrication techniques. They gain experience using both traditional fabrication tools and advanced equipment, including a 5' x 10' plasma table and CAD-based plasma cutting design.

Students have the opportunity to earn AWS welding certifications and up to 18 hours of concurrent college credit through Black River Technical College. With a focus on precision, safety, and craftsmanship, these students are workforce ready and prepared to contribute to manufacturing, construction, and fabrication teams from day one.

NEACTC’s Advanced Manufacturing students are trained in modern design, machining, and digital fabrication, preparing them to step directly into today’s high-tech manufacturing environments. Students gain hands-on experience with industry-grade equipment including CNC mills and lathes, 3-D printers and scanners, and CNC laser and plasma cutters. They develop skills in design, modeling, and job planning while working on both personal and industry-level projects.

Students are proficient in software such as Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor, CorelDraw, and Adobe applications. They have the opportunity to earn up to 20 hours of concurrent college credit through ASUN and pursue industry-recognized certifications including HAAS, NIMS Level I and II, FeatureCam, and CAD/CAM credentials. With a strong foundation in precision, safety, and problem-solving, these students are workforce ready and equipped to contribute to advanced manufacturing teams from day one.

NEACTC’s Industrial Technology students are trained in the core skills needed for modern industrial and maintenance roles. They gain hands-on experience with electrical systems, mechanical components, pneumatic and hydraulic operations, AC/DC motors, variable speed drives, and introductory PLC troubleshooting and programming. This broad technical foundation prepares students to step into industrial environments with confidence.

Students have the opportunity to earn concurrent college credit through ASUN and pursue industry-recognized certifications such as OSHA 10 and S/P2. In addition to technical ability, students develop professional skills like punctuality, teamwork, and workplace safety awareness. These students are prepared to support maintenance and production teams and contribute from day one in industrial settings.

NEACTC’s Automotive Service students receive hands-on training that prepares them for real-world shop environments. They build skills ranging from routine maintenance like oil changes and tire service to advanced work in brake systems, steering and suspension, electrical systems, and engine performance. Students train in a modern, fully equipped facility using up-to-date diagnostic tools and follow strong safety and proficiency standards.

NEACTC’s program is nationally accredited by NATEF for ASE, the first program in Arkansas to earn this distinction. Students have the opportunity to obtain ASE student certifications in Brakes, Steering and Suspension, Electrical Systems, Engine Performance, and Maintenance and Light Repair (MLR), as well as earn concurrent college credit through Black River Technical College. These students are prepared to enter the workforce with practical experience, industry credentials, and a strong understanding of professional shop expectations.

NEACTC’s Auto Collision students receive comprehensive, hands-on training in automotive refinish, nonstructural and structural repair, damage analysis and estimating, and welding. Students learn real industry procedures, proper terminology, and professional repair processes, preparing them to contribute in collision repair environments with confidence.

NEACTC’s Auto Collision program is nationally accredited by NATEF and has produced a SkillsUSA National Champion, reflecting a high standard of training and performance. Students have the opportunity to earn concurrent college credit through Black River Technical College and pursue ASE student certifications in Painting and Refinishing, Structural Analysis and Damage Repair, Non-structural Analysis, and Mechanical and Electrical. These students enter the workforce with practical experience, industry credentials, and a strong understanding of shop expectations.

NEACTC’s Healthcare Services students receive hands-on, project-based training that prepares them for real-world healthcare environments. Students build foundational skills in anatomy and physiology, clinical care, patient safety, infection control, communication, and emergency response. Training takes place in a modern, fully equipped medical lab that simulates real healthcare settings, giving students practical experience and professional confidence.

Students have the opportunity to earn concurrent college credit through ASUN and Black River Technical College and pursue industry-recognized certifications such as Heartsaver CPR, AED, First Aid, and National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician Responder. Pre-Nursing students also complete coursework in medical terminology, healthcare math, and nutrition, preparing them for nursing pathways. With a strong focus on compassion, safety, and professionalism, these students are prepared to support healthcare teams and continue advancing in medical and nursing careers.

NEACTC’s Computer Science Information Technology & Security students receive hands-on training that prepares them for real-world IT support and networking roles. Students develop practical skills in building, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing computer systems, as well as installing software, maintaining local area networks, and addressing basic cybersecurity threats. This training helps students enter technical environments with a strong foundation in both hardware and network support.

Students have the opportunity to earn concurrent college credit through ASUN and pursue industry-recognized certifications including CompTIA A+, CompTIA ITF+, CompTIA Network+, and TestOut PC Pro, Network Pro, and CyberDefense Pro. With a focus on problem-solving, security awareness, and technical reliability, these students are prepared to support IT teams and contribute to today’s technology-driven workplaces.
