Jonesboro - Career and technical administrators and educators from across the state visited NEA Career & Technical Center November 12th.
The schedule of events included a centerwide tour and luncheon prepared by students in Culinary Arts I & II. Topics included the important role of career & technical education in meeting the needs of Arkansas industry, the importance of student certifications and the impact of Skills USA.
AACTEA is a division of the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators with emphasis placed on promoting career and technical education.
To tour participants--THANK YOU for investing the time to travel to Jonesboro to see how career and technical education is impacting the lives of students across Northeast Arkansas.
A special thank you is extended as well to Mike Mertins, AAEA Assistant Executive Director for reaching out to NEACTC to host this event. It was certainly an exciting day!
