Say hello to Dan West, the creative powerhouse behind the Advanced Manufacturing program at NEACTC.  With a whopping 40 years in the industry and 6 years in education, he's the expert of making and modeling. 

Mr. West's journey is a fusion of experience and passion – from over three decades of self-employment to his new chapter in education. Teaching at NEACTC has been his ultimate adventure, a journey that fills his days with joy and fulfillment.

What You'll Learn

Advanced Manufacturing's 2023-24 Curriculum Map

Concurrent Credit

Articulated college credit is available at no cost to students through ASUN, Arkansas State University - Newport.  Enrolled students have the opportunity to receive up to 14 hours of college credit through our Advanced Manufacturing program.  The current available college credit courses are the following:  year 1 students- Materials, Measurement & Safety  (3 hours) and Job Planning, Benchwork, and Layout (3 hours); year 2 students- CNC Turning (4 hours) and CNC Milling (4 hours) .  Concurrent credit goes alongside the student's classroom work which means no extra work!


Our Advanced Manufacturing program has a lot of career focused certifications to offer students.  Those certifications are the following:  FeatureCam, Cad/Cam, Fusion 360 Cad/Cam, Immerse2Learn (HAAS), HAAS CNC Lathe 1st & 2nd year, HAAS CNC Mill 1st & 2nd year, NIMS  Level I & II CNC Mill, NIMS Level I & II CNC Lathe.
